Many companies and organizations around the world are stepping forward with climate commitments. However, because these voluntary commitments lack regulatory or legal definition, they risk sowing confusion. So how should corporate carbon commitments be understood? CIBO takes it back to the basics by breaking down the concepts and initiatives behind companies’ climate pledges. We will uncover the verification, validation and certification that goes on behind the climate initiatives.
Join us on Thursday, July 28, 2021 at 1 pm CT / 2 pm ET where we’ll cover:
- Where to start your corporate climate commitment journey
- How to find the carbon footprint for organizations and products
- An overview of international bodies, carbon registries, and reporting structures
