Expanding producer access to USDA conservation funding

As highlighted in a 2025 USDA ERS report, adoption of conservation practices varies widely by region, practice, and available incentives. Despite billions in EQIP funding available annually, complex processes and limited awareness keep many producers from participating.

CIBO is tackling this challenge with a technology and data-driven solution. By combining geospatial data, NRCS integration, and algorithmic prioritization, CIBO streamlines the application process and strengthens applications across more than 20 states.

Through its vast Trusted Advisor Network, CIBO democratizes access to EQIP funding and helps producers identify the highest-value, regionally aligned conservation practices.

In FY2025, CIBO will submit $400M+ in EQIP applications. CIBO is leading private-sector participation in the nation’s largest conservation funding program, which will allocate $18.5B through FY2031.

Key advantages:

  • Automates EQIP eligibility and ranking criteria
  • Scales producer access to conservation funding
  • Increases approval rates
